We offer educational facilities and programs throughout the year to any school districts interested in pursuing outdoor conservation education. It is our goal to raise the awareness and knowledge of the need for conservation among students of Missouri.
Developed in conjunction with Missouri's Science Frameworks, the focus of our educational programs is to investigative science, or as Mrs. Jones says, "Bring the kids to explore, experience, get dirty and learn." There is no charge to the school districts for any program at Prairie Fork Conservation Area. In fact, we may be able to provide grants to help with the cost of busing or lunches for programs at Prairie Fork Conservation Area. Because we are not a public use facility, programs are offered by reservation only. Please contact us for further information regarding our programs, or to schedule an event.
